What affects the price

Several things change the final quote for a hardscape project. The biggest factor is the size of the area you want covered, followed by the specific materials you choose. Natural stone, for example, usually costs more than standard concrete pavers. You also have to consider site prep; if the ground needs significant grading or old materials removed, that adds labor hours. Complex patterns, retaining walls, or built-in features like fire pits will also shift your budget. We can get you an exact pricing confirmed free on the call.

About this service

This process involves creating a stable, level foundation by excavating soil and laying down compacted gravel and sand. The pavers are then set in place, locked together with edge restraints, and finished with joint sand. You need this service when you want to convert a grassy or muddy backyard into a usable, low-maintenance outdoor living area. A professional installation ensures the patio remains level and avoids common issues like sinking or water pooling after a heavy rain.

Frequently asked in St. Petersburg

Is it cheaper to lay concrete or pavers?

For St. Petersburg homeowners, the initial cost of concrete might seem lower. However, pavers often provide better long-term value. Pavers can be individually replaced if damaged, unlike a concrete slab, which can crack and require more extensive repairs. The specialists can detail the lifecycle costs for your specific needs.

Where is the cheapest place to buy pavers?

Do I really need sand under pavers?

Yes, a proper base layer, including a sand setting bed, is absolutely essential for paver patios in St. Petersburg. This ensures stability and prevents your patio from shifting or settling due to our sandy soil and rainfall. The pros will explain why this step is critical for a durable installation.

How much would a 20x20 paver patio cost?

The cost for a 20x20 paver patio in St. Petersburg varies based on paver style, complexity of the design, and any necessary site preparation. Factors like drainage considerations are also important here. A specialist can provide a precise quote after discussing your vision and assessing your property.
